Top SchoolHazel Virdó is a Principal Technical Writer with 12 years of experience building developer-first documentation and docs-as-code systems, currently shaping product docs at Auth0 after leading documentation at DigitalOcean. She founded and scaled documentation teams, implemented CI/CD and static-site tooling, and led a front-end rewrite that cut page load and asset bloat dramatically. Equally comfortable with APIs, CLI references, and editorial craft, Hazel has published hundreds of technical tutorials and defined open-source style tooling used across teams. A former software engineer and CMU teaching assistant, she blends engineering rigor with pedagogy—she still gravitates to mentoring and teaching in every role. Openly queer and unabashedly nerdy, she treats words as a design surface for developer experience.
