Top SchoolHector Linares is a Principal Program Manager in Microsoft’s Office of the CTO with 11+ years driving cloud and infrastructure programs from Azure Stack and Edge to strategic missions like quantum networking, generative AI for government, homomorphic encryption, and confidential computing. He combines deep systems and storage integration experience—having led storage management, BC/DR, and partner integrations with major OEMs—with a proclivity for translating cutting‑edge research into pragmatic product requirements. Based in Redmond, he routinely bridges engineering, standards bodies, and ISV partners to deliver interoperable, secure solutions at scale. Unusually for a PM, Hector has hands‑on history building management frameworks and partner workshops that materially accelerated third‑party product support and deployment readiness.
