Hector Matos
Summary
🤩
RockstarHector Matos is a Senior iOS Developer with 12 years of experience building production-grade mobile platforms for companies like Twitch, Dropbox, DoorDash, and Apple, and is currently leading iOS work at Mudflap in Austin. He has a track record of architecting design systems and SDKs—shipping the Amazon IVS Chat iOS SDK in six months, creating cross-platform design-system tooling at Dropbox, and driving adoption of Prism at DoorDash. Hector blends deep product-facing UI craftsmanship (animations, composers, interaction patterns) with CI/CD and automation expertise that accelerates teams and reduces manual asset work. A former intelligence analyst, he brings disciplined analytical rigor to complex problems and a penchant for mathematical thinking. Colleagues describe him as punctual, collaborative, and insatiably curious—always learning beyond iOS to broaden his engineering toolkit.
