Senior🎓
Top SchoolHedde Van Der Heide is a seasoned solution architect and integration lead with over 25 years of hands-on web and backend engineering experience, now focusing on shaping conditions for resilient systems, teams, and products. A long-time freelancer and founder, he blends pragmatic delivery across commercial, public-sector, and NGO projects with deep technical chops in Python, Elixir, Kubernetes and cloud-agnostic architectures. Recently he’s integrated AI into everyday practice—using frontier models and tools to dramatically compress the path from intent to working software while emphasizing responsibility and judgment. He currently leads integration and product efforts across sports-tech startups and government programs, translating complex requirements into secure, production-grade systems. Outside of engineering he coaches youth soccer and builds consumer and SaaS products in spare hours, demonstrating an entrepreneurial practice grounded in real user constraints.
