Summary
👤
SeniorHenrique Cassus is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience evolving from non-technical roots in advertising to building and maintaining production microservices and SDLC tooling across fintech and marketplace platforms. He brings deep pragmatic knowledge from early mission-critical support (Brazilian SPED, PKCS key stores, SOAP/digital signatures) through QA and SDET roles into production engineering with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Python and automation frameworks. Henrique excels at improving testability, performance and developer workflows—often shipping small but high-impact fixes in production and slicing long-running UI tests into fast, maintainable subcutaneous checks. He’s mentored engineers across functions to lift backend skills and foster contract-first backend-for-frontend practices at scale. Based in Haarlem, he combines cross-disciplinary customer empathy, infrastructure experience (Terraform to AWS/OCI) and a bias for measurable quality improvements.
