Top SchoolHidenori Shinohara is a software engineer with 11 years of experience specializing in algorithms, distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure. Based in New York, he has contributed to core Stellar infrastructure—improving tooling, load generation, and XDR protocol structures—and worked on formal verification of the Stellar Consensus Protocol using Ivy. His background spans Google data pipelines and MapReduce to hands-on C++ development, Docker/Kubernetes network simulations, and pioneering a ZK blackjack using Soroban smart contracts. He combines rigorous mathematical training (PhD work in mathematics) with practical production engineering, enjoying writing about what he learns on his personal site. Notably, he brings a researcher's attention to correctness to high-throughput, peer-to-peer systems, making him effective at bridging proof-driven design and real-world implementation.
