Top SchoolHien V. Mai is a Senior Software Engineer based in Tokyo with eight years of experience building production systems across startups and established engineering teams. He has progressed from application-level development for 3D sensor firmware and container terminal systems to leading architecture and full lifecycle ownership, applying Domain-Driven Design and pragmatic architectural principles. At TDA he drove technical decisions and end-to-end delivery, and he now continues that trajectory at ExaWizards where he contributes at senior level. Hien blends hands-on implementation skills with system thinking—comfortable moving between low-level image-processing firmware and higher-level service architectures. He favors taking responsibility for designs that survive post-launch monitoring and support, showing a strong operational mindset not always visible on resumes. Educated in Information Technology at VNU University of Engineering and Technology, he brings a steady record of shipping durable, maintenance-minded software.
