Top SchoolHimanchali is a Staff Software Engineer based in Bengaluru with over a decade of hands-on experience architecting, scaling, and troubleshooting data stores and distributed systems. He has progressed from DB engineer to manager and staff roles, leading database reliability, automation, and cost-effective capacity planning across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aerospike, Druid, Vertica and related tooling. Known for deep incident diagnosis and RCA-driven improvements, he’s worked as a senior escalation engineer and TAM for critical APAC customers, turning support cases into product and documentation enhancements. He also brings strong DevOps and SRE skills—CI/CD, containerization, ProxySQL, TimescaleDB and custom PostgreSQL extensions—gained through freelance and in-house roles. A regular speaker at conferences like PGConf and Rootconf, he blends operator-level expertise with a developer’s curiosity for building reproducible, automated systems. Notably, he often converts escalations into lasting tooling and process improvements that reduce future toil.
