Top SchoolHiren Pandit is a Principal Software Engineer with 11+ years of experience building resilient, data-at-scale backend systems and platform services, currently shaping architectural direction at Mastercard. He specializes in Java and Spring Boot microservices, event-driven design with Kafka, distributed caching and Oracle-based data architectures, while also delivering React-based micro-frontends and TypeScript component libraries. Hiren pairs deep systems engineering—circuit breakers, dead-letter queues, Spring Batch automation—with pragmatic security practices including synchronous/asynchronous encryption and PCI-DSS awareness. He also writes Go tooling and is experimenting with Go + HTMX for lightweight server-rendered apps, reflecting a taste for simple, performant stacks alongside complex distributed systems. Known for translating complex requirements into maintainable designs, he mentors senior engineers and sets cross-squad engineering standards to consistently improve observability and resilience. Based in Ahmedabad, he welcomes conversations about platform engineering, distributed architectures, and Java ecosystem best practices.
