Summary
👤
SeniorHiroshi Mori is a CTO and data engineer with eight years of experience designing and operating mission-critical data integration and database systems for large teams and enterprises. He led DBA and data integration architecture for projects with hundreds of members at IBM Japan and now runs Aurora Labo, where he also publishes a WordPress official theme and plugin. His strengths include performance tuning through SQL execution-plan analysis, parallelization, and tailored statistical design, alongside hands-on ETL, Python, Java, and C++ development. He has published practical BigQuery tooling and experiments—ranging from high-speed data generation to advanced query-plan and statistics investigations—that reveal non-obvious behaviors of DWH optimizers. Comfortable bridging low-level storage and OS-level concerns with logical and physical data modeling, he pairs strategic architecture with executional depth. Based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, he blends enterprise-scale leadership with open exploratory research that informs real-world performance improvements.
