Top SchoolHiroshi Tanaka is an AI infrastructure and HPC technical specialist with nine years of focused experience architecting and delivering Azure-based HPC, CAD/CAE/EDA, PLM, and AI/Deep Learning solutions across automotive, manufacturing, media, research, and bio industries. At Microsoft he has blended hands-on engineering, pre-sales, and business development to drive customer R&D outcomes rather than pure IT conversations, acting as a domain expert and escalation point for complex deployments. His background spans compute networking, SDN, cloud automation, and global enablement work from roles at VMware, Nicira, and Cisco, giving him deep systems and networking instincts for large-scale engineering workloads. He holds a Global MBA from The University of Manchester and a BA in Applied Mathematics, enabling him to bridge technical depth with commercial strategy and field marketing. Notably, he leverages mixed roles—architect, BDM, and marketer—to accelerate ISV partnerships and customer onboarding for Big Compute scenarios. Based in Chiyoda, Japan, he pairs practical implementation experience with a focus on solving engineering R&D challenges end-to-end.
