Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolHung-chun Yu is a senior escalation engineer at Microsoft DevOps with over 15 years of software testing and quality assurance experience and a decade-plus specialty in internationalization, globalization, and localization. He excels at digging into complex, under-documented customer issues across desktop, server, and mobile platforms, often reproducing hard-to-find bugs involving firmware, CMOS, or hardware-level failures. He has designed and implemented C# automation that reliably increased coverage and reduced manual effort, and has strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, TFS, Azure/AWS CI workflows, and mobile device lab management. A seasoned mentor and team lead, Hung-chun pairs pragmatic leadership with deep technical troubleshooting—having supported products from Office and Windows to modern DevOps services. He brings an unusual blend of low-level hardware troubleshooting (board-level diagnostics, firmware upgrades) and high-level test automation strategy that helps bridge customer support and engineering. Based in Redmond, he is fluent in Mandarin and leverages international product release experience to ensure quality across global markets.
