As Director of Technology Development at BIONES and former VP/Research Director, he has led development and automation of diagnostic assays for HPV, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, STDs and nicotine detection, with multiple patents and government-funded projects. He bridges hands-on molecular assay design, quantitative PCR methods, and product-scale automation—translating academic research from Yonsei University into commercial diagnostic kits.
