Top SchoolHyungyu Lee is an engineering leader and legal representative for Cognex Korea with a decade of experience bridging product, engineering, and go-to-market strategy. As Director of Engineering at Cognex and former product manager at SUALAB (acquired by Cognex), he combines hands-on technical oversight with M&A and commercialization experience in machine vision and AI-enabled products. Earlier roles in product and marketing at SK Telecom and an internship at IBM give him a rare mix of telecom, enterprise software, and startup sensibilities. Based in Seoul, he is known for translating complex technical requirements into commercially viable products and scaling engineering teams across acquisitions. His GitHub handle @deveely hints at an active personal engineering curiosity beyond corporate roles. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic, strategically-minded operator who balances technical depth with business leadership.
