Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolI Canavan is a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Portland, Oregon with 11 years of experience building web products and driving engineering culture improvements. They excel at launching greenfield features, refactoring legacy monoliths into modern GraphQL and Next.js architectures, and optimizing CI/CD and infrastructure for cost and performance. At Stitch Fix they led cross-team initiatives that improved onboarding conversion, SEO Lighthouse scores, and deployment efficiency while founding a Typescript book club to upskill peers. Comfortable in both startup and enterprise settings, they combine hands-on coding with mentorship and process change to scale teams and code quality. A practical systems thinker, they also authored a custom Terraform CloudFront module to centralize redirect logic—an example of preferring durable platform solutions over ad hoc fixes.
