Top SchoolI Chang is a serial founder and hands-on hacker with 14 years of experience turning AR, VR, computer vision and AI ideas into prize-winning prototypes and production startups from San Francisco. He repeatedly serves as Founder/CTO or Hacker in Residence across a sprawling portfolio—permute.xyz, AReality3D, AIMagical and numerous stealth ventures—demonstrating a knack for rapid prototyping and cross-disciplinary systems that blend 3D, CV, IoT and emergent sensor interfaces. His work has repeatedly won top hackathon and conference awards (including multiple TechCrunch Disrupt Grand Prizes and SIGGRAPH Real-Time Live showcases), reflecting a rare combination of creative product vision and low-level engineering skill. Comfortable shipping end-to-end—from RealityScript mobile CV hacks to NVIDIA Inception-backed AI products—he thrives at the intersection of research-grade tech and playful consumer experiences. Beyond engineering, he brings a background in physics and bioengineering research and an unusual creative side rooted in theatre and digital art, which informs his ergonomic, narrative-driven product designs.
