Senior🎓
Top SchoolIain Macleod is a strategic technology leader and consultant with 11 years of experience building products, leading engineering teams, and driving digital transformation across logistics, telecommunications, and AI sectors. As a former Chief Innovation Officer he helped scale a business from $10M to $100M revenue, launched automated brokerage and real-time tracking products, and led the creation of a proprietary Transportation Management System. He combines hands-on software engineering roots with commercial acumen—negotiating contracts, selecting infrastructure, and aligning product roadmaps with C-suite priorities. Known for turning operational pain points into automated, revenue-generating solutions, he has a track record of cutting costs (VoIP migration, vendor renegotiation) while boosting efficiency and bookings. Iain thrives on bringing an outsider’s perspective to complex problems, helping organizations decide when to build versus buy and how to get the most from limited development resources. Based in Greater Pittsburgh, he pairs a BEng in Electronic and Software Engineering with practical experience shipping web and mobile systems that modernize legacy operations.
