Senior🎓
Top SchoolIan Goddard is a Senior QA Manager based in the UK with nine years of hands-on experience building and leading quality engineering for consumer-facing web, mobile and connected-device products. He has progressed from hands-on test engineering and conformance certification to leading SDET teams and interim Head of QA roles at companies like DAZN, Napster Group and Hudl, with deep expertise in front-end automation (WDIO, Cypress), playback/video testing and API certification regimes. Ian combines pragmatic test tooling refactors with process and release governance, and has repeatedly been seconded to teams to drive testing best practices and uplift engineering maturity. His background in audio and music technology and early work on standards and ISO accreditation gives him a particular strength in rigorous, standards-driven testing and cross-team stakeholder coaching. Despite a laconic GitHub bio, his career shows a consistent pattern of turning ad-hoc test suites into maintainable automation and certification programs that scale.
