Senior🎓
Top SchoolIgor Rinkovec is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with 12 years of experience building high-performance web and mobile products and running his own software firm from Zagreb. He blends hands-on backend expertise (PHP, Symfony, Laravel, MySQL/MariaDB) with cloud and DevOps practice (AWS, Docker, *nix administration) to deliver scalable, secure solutions and optimize databases for heavy traffic. At Toptal and through Rinkovec d.o.o. he focuses on understanding business needs before designing architectures, often over-delivering on client goals while also maintaining several iOS and web products of his own. He has taught full-stack web development and software architecture at Algebra, mentoring new instructors and shaping practical curricula, which informs his clear, pragmatic approach to engineering. His background in databases and knowledgebases (Master’s) and experience with telephony platforms (Asterisk, VICIDial) add niche strengths beyond the typical full-stack profile.
