Top SchoolIgor Sant'Ana is a Senior Software Engineer based in São Paulo with 11 years of experience building high-performance, distributed systems and shaping engineering teams across fintech and SaaS. He has led payments and authentication platforms, architecting microservices-based, event-driven solutions with Golang, Node.js/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Kafka while cutting infrastructure costs through pragmatic cloud design. Comfortable moving between hands-on delivery and technical leadership, he has driven migrations, refactors (including JS→TypeScript and DDD/clean-architecture efforts), CI/CD and Kubernetes optimizations that materially reduced operating expenses. A functional-programming enthusiast who obsessively tunes performance, Igor pairs deep systems thinking with practical mentoring to help teams scale. Notably, he designed a multi-acquirer payment gateway from scratch and helped migrate clusters to heavy spot-instance usage to save over 60% in costs.
