👤
SeniorIgor Šćekić is a Staff Software Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area with 16 years of experience turning complex business needs into high-performance, scalable systems. He specializes in the TypeScript ecosystem—React/Next.js and Node.js—and has architected production-grade microservices, GraphQL middleware, and cross-platform SDKs that handle mission-critical traffic with low latency. A proven team lead and mentor, Igor has scaled engineering teams and influenced product strategy through hands-on prototyping and rigorous technology evaluations. Notable achievements include replacing a third-party link service with a zero-downtime in-house solution and building a shared SDK used across web, mobile, and TV clients. With a BSc in Physics and a background of single-handedly delivering full-stack products early in his career, he combines analytical rigor with practical engineering to drive reliable delivery in remote-first environments.
