Top SchoolIgor Silva is a chemical engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience optimizing industrial processes across CPG, mining, and cosmetics, now based in Salt Lake City while completing a BS at the University of Utah. He has driven measurable operational gains—reducing setup times by 30% at Procter & Gamble and cutting sulfuric acid use by 20% at Nexa—by applying Lean, statistical analysis, and data-driven dashboards in Power BI. His cross-disciplinary background spans process scale-up under GMP at L'Oréal, metallurgical validation for investor reporting, and organic synthesis research that contributed to a published study. Comfortable at the interface of lab and plant, he pairs practical shop-floor skills (industrial mechanics apprenticeship) with process safety and regulatory compliance know-how. Known online as @igor9silva, he brings a pragmatic, metrics-first approach to improving productivity, quality, and equipment uptime.
