Top SchoolIheanyi Ekechukwu is a Senior Software Engineer in Houston with 13 years of experience building scalable, reliable systems across backend, frontend, CLI, and developer tooling. He has shipped core product features and infrastructure at companies like Stripe, PlanetScale (where he led work on branching, CLI/Go SDKs, audit logging and cost-saving automation), GitHub (helping build GitHub Actions), and DigitalOcean. Comfortable across Go, TypeScript, Python and Ruby, he contributes to open source—adding client hook extensibility to the popular twirp RPC framework and maintaining practical tools like a Bandcamp downloader—reflecting a pragmatic, build-first mindset. He pairs product-focused engineering with operational improvements that materially reduced costs and improved invoice collection, and he has a knack for turning internal tools into company-wide productivity multipliers. Though he builds side projects for fun, he’s currently not seeking new roles.
