Top SchoolIlka Guigova is a seasoned software engineer with 15 years of experience building robust backend systems and integrations for regulated and high-throughput environments. Currently at Wayleadr after recent roles delivering METRC compliance, Biotrack syncs, Zapier connectivity and enterprise automation for cannabis facilities, she excels at translating complex domain rules into reliable, auditable software. Her background spans secure messaging, identity protocols (OAuth/OIDC/SAML across 35+ providers), ERP and manufacturing systems, and performance-focused refactors that significantly improved throughput and maintainability. A mathematics graduate from the University of Toronto, Ilka pairs analytical rigor with pragmatic engineering—she’s as comfortable designing mapping engines that handle hundreds of calls per second as she is mentoring the next generation through Microsoft’s TEALS program.
