Top SchoolIlya Noskov is a data engineer with nine years’ experience building high-throughput, reliable data infrastructure for FinTech and trading firms, currently working across Cumberland and Millennium. He has led design and delivery of petabyte-scale ETL/ELT systems and helped reduce aggregation and audit workflows from hours or days to minutes through smart distributed ingestion, columnar storage, and CI/CD for data pipelines. At SumUp he architected a 500M-record/day ingestion system and a warehousing solution that sped analytics >15x while training 100+ colleagues to write far more efficient SQL. Comfortable across Python, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS and PostgreSQL, he pairs strong communication and mentoring with hands-on engineering. He brings a quantitative developer mindset from high-volume trading work and a taste for competitive programming and category theory that inform elegant, provably reliable designs.
