Summary
👤
SeniorIndranil Chatterjee is a data engineer with 9 years of experience specializing in modernizing big-data platforms—migrating legacy MapReduce/Pig pipelines to Spark on Kubernetes and building Apache Iceberg self-serve datasets for analysts and data scientists. At Infosys he engineered incremental processing and performance optimizations that slashed Spark job runtimes from an hour to ~15 minutes and enabled quarter-hour dashboards used across regions to support product launches. He combines backend data engineering with ML tooling for data cleansing (e.g., issuer name reconciliation) and automation via Airflow and CI/CD to reduce manual effort and TATs. Earlier work includes native Android development and AR prototyping, reflecting a practical cross-stack curiosity that helps him bridge data, product, and client needs.
