Top SchoolIoannis Sklikas is a medically trained paediatrician based in Cardiff who blends clinical work with a decade-plus of hands-on software development, particularly iOS and NodeJS applications. Currently working at ST1/2 level in general paediatrics, he manages acute and outpatient care, teaches medical students, and routinely performs core paediatric procedures and emergency cover. Parallel to clinical roles, he has released over 15 apps since his teens, won multiple awards, and builds web and desktop tools using NodeJS, Python, PHP and Electron. Comfortable operating independently in high-stakes settings—from rural primary care to military emergency shifts—he consistently looks for ways to integrate technology into patient care and education. This combination of frontline medical experience and sustained, award-winning software practice gives him a practical edge in developing clinician-focused digital solutions.
