Top SchoolIrina Khafizova is a Senior Software Engineer based in the New York City area with six years of experience transitioning from QA and automation into full-stack engineering across web and mobile projects in retail, insurance, and health. She combines strong automation and test-driven instincts with hands-on work in React, Next.js, Spring Boot, Docker, Kafka, Prometheus/Grafana, and PostgreSQL to build observable, containerized systems and responsive UIs. At xkite she architected a reusable React/Next.js GUI alongside a Spring Boot microservice that exposed Kafka metrics via JMX and Prometheus, demonstrating a knack for bridging frontend UX with backend observability. She has led QA teams and built CI/CD-backed API test suites, cutting legacy test surface while improving reliability—an engineer who values maintainability and measurable performance. Irina’s open-source projects show a practical focus on integrations (OAuth2, Discord APIs) and developer ergonomics, reflecting both product-minded thinking and an appetite for tooling that reduces user friction.
