Senior🎓
Top Schoolİşbaran Akçayır is a seasoned software engineer with 18 years of experience building highly available cloud-native systems and automation across AWS and Oracle environments. He combines hands-on expertise in containerization, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD with a background in low-level development—Python, C++, Qt—and networking (UDP/TCP, serial protocols). His career spans roles from Pardus Linux contributor and defense industry project engineer on UAV systems to DevOps consultancy, Site Reliability work, and current software engineering at SonicWall, reflecting both open-source roots and enterprise security experience. Notably, he co-founded a startup and has deep operational knowledge of infrastructure tooling (Chef, Jenkins, LDAP/Kerberos, HashiCorp stack) that helps bridge development and production reliability. Based in Istanbul, he brings a rare mix of systems-level programming, GIS and networked embedded systems insight to cloud-first reliability engineering.
