Top SchoolIsmael Velasco is a founder and multidisciplinary technology leader focused on AI engineering, research and governance, with eight years of formal software experience and over three decades of parallel careers spanning software, social action, and sustainability. He builds green, serverless architectures and agentic AI systems while embedding eco-design and rigorous lifecycle thinking into product and policy work, most recently shaping Life Cycle Assessment tooling and AI4LCA benchmarking. As CTO of EarthShift Global and founder of the Adora Foundation he combines hands-on API and full‑stack engineering with community-driven social innovation and arts-led mobilisation. His track record includes rescuing and modernising a 50,000‑page digital heritage library, rapid crisis-driven productisation during COVID response, and helping design conversational symbolic agents for wellbeing. Comfortable translating across academia, policy and engineering, he deliberately bridges siloed disciplines to apply social, environmental and technical lenses to the same problem. A Mexican cosmopolite and open‑source dabbler, he pairs rigorous systems thinking with a persistent optimism about society’s capacity to adapt.
