Senior🎓
Top SchoolIsmail Hardoum is a versatile full-stack software developer with 11 years of practical experience spanning web, mobile, scraping and DevOps, currently contributing at iQommerce and as a Research Associate at the University of Calgary. He builds end-to-end solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node, Express, Nest), Python, PHP, and .NET, and pairs that backend expertise with React-based front ends and React Native mobile work. Comfortable across databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean), he also develops browser extensions, WordPress plugins, and automated scraping pipelines with Puppeteer, Scrapy and Selenium. A recent college diploma and a strong GPA from Bow Valley College reflect his formal transition into software after earlier studies in biology and economics, which gives him a multidisciplinary perspective on problem solving. He’s pragmatic about shipping production-ready systems—Docker, CI/CD, TDD, serverless and payment integrations are common in his projects—and maintains a portfolio of work at elhardoum.com. Colleagues describe him as a fast learner who enjoys tackling new challenges and bridging research needs with practical engineering.
