Senior🎓
Top SchoolIstvan Hegedus is a Senior Network Design Engineer with over a decade of experience designing and delivering Cisco- and Aruba-based LAN/WAN and unified wireless solutions for global enterprises. He combines deep hands-on expertise in wireless radio planning, mobility controllers, ClearPass BYOD/IoT architectures and traditional WAN routing (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP) to translate complex requirements into deployable designs and BOMs. Having led virtual teams and supported large-scale rollouts at BT, AT&T, HPE and others, he’s comfortable bridging architecture, implementation and operations. Apart from professional practice, he pursues hardware-level curiosities—authoring FPGATED, a Verilog-based MOS8360 chip replacement—highlighting a rare blend of network systems thinking and low-level engineering. Based in Budapest, he brings practical leadership and troubleshooting depth to enterprise wireless and converged network projects.
