Itamar Galili
Senior Frontend Engineer at Gong
South District, Israel
Summary
👤
SeniorItamar Galili is a Senior Frontend Engineer with about six years of hands-on experience building user-facing applications and APIs across Vue, Svelte, Solid and—pragmatically—React. He’s a full-stack autodidact who pairs frontend craft with backend work in Node.js, Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) and Ruby on Rails, and has a track record of shrinking data-prep and tagging workflows through automation. Having transitioned from product management and military intel into engineering, he brings disciplined product thinking and operational rigor to complex data problems and unconventional styling challenges. He enjoys tinkering with web scraping, automation and hardware (Arduino and soldering), which often informs pragmatic engineering experiments. Currently at Gong after contributing to Lightricks and acquisitions-era startups, he favors building over directing and is unusually enthusiastic about graphs and Python.
