Top SchoolIván Alberquilla is a Co-founder and CTO with a decade of hands-on engineering experience bridging traditional finance, blockchain, DeFi, and AI agents. He transitioned from nine years building banking technology into blockchain and crypto tooling, and now leads product and engineering at Pond3r. Comfortable shipping production systems and smart-contract infrastructure, he pairs deep TIBCO and enterprise integration roots with specialist blockchain training from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. Iván is pragmatic about architecture and governance, with a track record of freelance and consultancy roles that forced rapid delivery across regulated financial environments. Based in Greater Madrid, he blends startup grit with institutional discipline and a curiosity for agentic AI that complements his DeFi work. Notably, his career shift into blockchain feels more like an evolution—he positions distributed ledgers as a natural extension of resilient, enterprise-grade financial systems.
