Senior🎓
Top SchoolIvan Boyaryn is a Lead Software Engineer and seasoned Big Data specialist with 11 years of experience designing and delivering scalable data platforms, ETL pipelines, and analytics solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure. He combines strong backend development chops (Python, Scala, Java, SQL) with production-grade data engineering using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and lakehouse/DWH architectures, often taking projects from prototype to MVP as a sole engineer or leading teams as Tech Lead. At EPAM he currently drives migration to an Advanced Analytics Platform and mentors a growing team, and his past roles include owning payment/subscription data flows and architecting cost-saving modeling software for national infrastructure. Comfortable in both hands-on implementation and pre-sales/technical interviewing, he blends mathematical training with practical system-building to optimize performance and cost. Colleagues value his ability to translate research-level ideas into robust, maintainable production systems and to upskill teams through constructive feedback and training.
