Top SchoolIvan Braun is a founder and product-oriented design leader with 12+ years building bootstrapped design and AI businesses from the ground up. As founder of Icons8 and Generated Photos, he has grown a portfolio of design assets and AI tools—icons, illustrations, vector editor, and a 100k-face synthetic dataset—used by designers, gamers, and ML practitioners. He combines hands-on UX and iconography expertise (dating back to VisualPharm and Parallels) with pragmatic product engineering to ship tools like an AI upscaler and animated icon sets. Based in San Francisco, he repeatedly turns creative problems into scalable, revenue-generating products without external funding. He also supports the design community through free education licenses and open-source sponsorships, and is actively recruiting design writers and motion designers to expand his ecosystem. A detail that often surprises collaborators: he pairs serious product ambition with a playful, bike-loving personality that keeps teams energetic and grounded.
