Senior🎓
Top SchoolIvan Cristina is a Flight Simulator Technical Instructor with nine years of hands-on experience blending aviation systems engineering and software development. Based in Piedmont, Italy, he progressed from technician to Instructor II at CAE while maintaining parallel work as a web and Java developer, demonstrating fluency across Windows, macOS, Linux/UNIX, mobile platforms and networking stacks. He brings deep practical skills in simulator platforms (ARINC, VNC, DHCP, Cisco), low-level hardware work (PC assembly across ARM/x86 families, microwelding, and electrical testing), and full-stack web/Android development including advanced JavaScript, HTML/CSS and ROM work. Comfortable operating in both avionics and IT environments, he bridges operational simulator support with code-level troubleshooting and tooling. Notably, his profile reflects an atypical mix of classroom instruction, field engineering and developer capability that makes him effective at translating complex technical systems into teachable procedures.
