Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolIvan Ivko is a versatile programmer with over 18 years of IT experience and nine years focused on game development, currently contributing to Nordcurrent's game projects. He combines deep infrastructure and integration expertise—spanning networking, virtualization, MS SQL/DB2 administration, and cryptography—with hands-on Unity and C# game development, including VR and procedural systems. As an indie developer he shipped mobile and VR prototypes, applying SOLID, GRASP and common game patterns to produce maintainable gameplay and UI systems. His background leading integration teams gives him a pragmatic edge in debugging complex, poorly documented systems and delivering production-ready fixes. Ivan is actively transitioning a long-held ambition into a professional game-dev career, pairing formal applied math training from MIPT with continual learning across Unity, Unreal, and lower-level C++. Colleagues describe him as a practical problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of systems engineering and creative game development.
