Top SchoolIvan Larionov is a Principal Software Engineer with 16 years of experience building and operating large-scale voice and platform infrastructure, currently focused on platform infrastructure at Twilio in San Jose. He has progressed through engineering and SRE roles driving containerization, Kubernetes adoption, infrastructure-as-code, capacity management, and automation for real-time voice backends. Comfortable across Linux and macOS environments, Ivan blends deep systems administration roots with Ruby on Rails development and a strong track record in monitoring, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization. His career includes service and platform reliability work at Skype and hands-on infrastructure roles earlier in his career, giving him both breadth and operational discipline. Beyond core platform work, he quietly focuses on reducing manual ops through automation and tooling, helping teams move from ad-hoc AWS management to reproducible, observable infrastructure.
