Summary
🎓
Top SchoolIvo Branco is a Senior Software Developer based in Lisbon with 7 years of professional experience building web and backend systems using Java, Python and JavaScript. He has a strong grounding in enterprise Java stacks (Spring, Hibernate, JPA) and web frameworks (Grails, Django, FenixEdu), and practical DevOps experience with Docker, Ansible and Jenkins to streamline deployments on Tomcat, Jetty and WebLogic. His career spans academia and research computing (ISCTE-IUL, Unidade de Computação Científica Nacional), where he has combined application development with identity management (Shibboleth) and BI/project management responsibilities. Comfortable with Linux, MySQL/Oracle and performance tooling like JMeter, he is the kind of engineer who moves between code, operations and institutional systems integration. A detail that stands out is his sustained work in university and national computing environments, which suggests skill at navigating complex, multi-stakeholder technical landscapes.
