Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJacobjob Koster is a senior software engineer with six years of focused experience building cloud-native Java systems and improving CI/CD toolchains across AWS and GCP. He excels at modernizing legacy stacks, having led on-premise-to-cloud migrations, Java upgrades, and Gradle/toolchain improvements while keeping maintainability and long-term quality front of mind. Comfortable across backend, DevOps and security practices, he pairs hands-on coding (Java, Spring, Docker) with infrastructure work (CDK, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to ship reliable systems. He prefers collaborative teams that iterate toward better solutions and has a track record of contributing to open source projects like the Frank!Framework. Notably, he balances pragmatic delivery with clean code and performance tuning—skills honed while optimizing high-volume systems such as pricing engines and large-scale scheduling platforms. Based in Zwolle, he also holds an AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification and a Master in Human-Computer Interaction, giving him a user-focused technical perspective.
