Summary
๐คฉ
RockstarJaeman An is a seasoned software and AI leader with 14 years of experience building scalable systems, from mobile games with tens of millions of players to life-saving clinical AI. As founder and CEO of VESSL AI, he raised $20M and leads a platform that streamlines model development and deployment across clouds and scales. Previously he led engineering at AITRICS, architecting MLOps, EMR pipelines, and model optimizations for hospital settings, and before that drove high-traffic backend and DevOps for major games at Devsisters. He blends low-level systems and networking experience (QUIC, load balancers, OpenGL/Unity VR) with cloud-native tooling (Kubernetes, KubeFlow, MLFlow) to move models from research to production. Based in California with a strong EE/CS and mathematical foundation from KAIST, he pairs entrepreneurial ambition with hands-on technical depth. A less obvious strength: he repeatedly translates research ideas into operational products under tight regulatory and scale constraints.
