Product Strategist App Developer
Colorado, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorJake Smith is a solutions-focused Partner Co-Founder and engineer with 10 years of experience building full-stack growth systems, payments integrations, and AI-powered automation for consumer products and platform partners. Based in Colorado, he has led end-to-end product architecture and App Store launches for a fitness app while previously shaping payments and compliance features at PayPal and checkout platforms at Bold Commerce. Comfortable bridging technical execution and partner-facing roles, Jake translates partner feedback into product requirements, designs high-converting acquisition funnels, and instruments analytics to optimize ROAS and CAC. He pairs hands-on development in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB with pragmatic risk-aware product tradeoffs—an approach honed across BigCommerce enterprise implementations and partner solutions engagements. Unusually, he combines startup founder grit with deep operational experience in regulated payments and automated SEO and marketing pipelines, and he’s also a husband and father who keeps engineering work grounded in real-world outcomes.
