Top SchoolJakob Givoni is a Principal Software Engineer with 11+ years building resilient, cloud-native payment and processing platforms, currently driving architecture and delivery at Mapit IoT. He combines deep PHP and distributed-systems expertise with AWS certification, container orchestration, and event-driven design to migrate and operate large multi‑AZ services with Auto Scaling, RDS, and ElastiCache. Jakob has a track record of translating complex compliance and security needs into production—designing a PCI DSS credit-card storage and distributed rekey process using AWS KMS—and of raising product velocity through automated integration testing across thousands of scenarios. As a hands-on leader he coached a team to meet quarterly OKRs for 16 consecutive quarters and built an ML-powered UX optimization engine that increased conversions while reducing fraud. Based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, he values elegant, maintainable solutions and has also contributed an open-source file-metadata caching library used by a steady user base.
