Top SchoolJakob Moeller is an investment professional based in London with nine years' experience across special situations, distressed products, and global opportunities at firms including Elliott, Oaktree, Houlihan Lokey and Deutsche Bank. He holds a Master in Finance from IE Business School and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Goethe University, blending rigorous academic training with hands‑on deal execution in restructuring, private equity and M&A. Jakob’s background shows a consistent focus on complex credit and special situations, moving from advisory and trading roles into discretionary investment positions. Now at Elliott, he applies this cross‑market perspective to sourcing and managing opportunistic investments, pairing technical financial analysis with operational turnaround insight. An early career spent in both German and US markets gives him a practical edge in navigating cross‑jurisdictional restructurings and distressed transactions.
