Jakub Skierbiszewski
Summary
👤
SeniorJakub Skierbiszewski is a Principal Software Architect based in Berlin with 11+ years of experience designing and delivering distributed, cloud-native systems and mobile applications. He combines hands‑on engineering (Android, C++, Spring) with proven leadership running cross‑cultural teams and taming chaotic, deadline‑driven projects into repeatable processes. At SAP Signavio he’s advanced backend architecture and delivery practices while earlier roles ranged from game‑engine networking to BI/DW consulting, giving him a rare full‑stack perspective. He specializes in scalable, highly available cloud tooling (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, ELK, Prometheus) and end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines. Colleagues value his systematic, outcome‑focused approach and knack for making difficult projects actually work; outside work he experiments with Linux and contributes to open source.
