Senior🎓
Top SchoolJames Baker is a seasoned solutions engineer with over 20 years in IT, currently leading infrastructure, hypervisor, backup and storage teams at manageNET in the Greater Sydney Area. He brings deep expertise in multi-tenant datacentre architecture, VMware vSphere, Commvault, NetApp and converged Dell HCI (vSAN), and applies PCI-DSS-grade governance across high-security private cloud environments. A founding team member at manageNET, he blends hands-on infrastructure caretaking with past development of customer portals and ITIL-aligned CRM systems, bridging operations and applied software automation. His background includes high-profile government and financial projects, giving him practical mastery of secure, large-scale migrations and disaster recovery strategies. Not obvious from titles: he’s equally comfortable writing .NET portals and designing enterprise backup/DR architectures, making him a rare practitioner who spans both platform architecture and applied development.
