Senior🎓
Top SchoolJames Foley is a Co-Founder and protocol engineer with 10 years of experience building decentralized ledger technology, token engineering, and DeFi systems from the Bay Area. He has founded and led multiple startups and projects—from Cowri Labs to mesozoic technologies and a current stealth venture—bringing product-minded engineering to cryptographic protocol design. His recent roles span hands-on Solidity and protocol work at GenLayer Labs and M0 and leadership as Head of Blockchain at Hyperware, where he worked on a distributed OS for crypto (Kinode.org). Comfortable across full-stack JavaScript and smart-contract stacks, he pairs practical CI/testing experience with deep protocol thinking. James’s background includes both creative training at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and a track record of turning experimental crypto research into deployable systems. He’s notable for combining founder-level product instincts with low-level protocol implementation rather than just high-level architecture.
