Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJames Sizeland is a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in Malmesbury, UK, with a PhD in Physics and six years of industry experience focused on embedded and IoT systems. He has led embedded engineering teams at Dyson to derisk future products and now builds Rust and React solutions at Graphcore, combining low-level hardware insight with modern full-stack tooling. A pragmatic tech lead and lover of Rust, TypeScript and new shiny things, he bridges experimental lab disciplines (LabVIEW, femtosecond laser setups) with production-grade software and test systems. His background in nanophysics gives him an uncommon edge for hardware-software integration and designing high-fidelity embedded systems.
