Senior🎓
Top SchoolJames V is a freelance finance project consultant and former junior finance consultant with nine years of experience delivering financial reporting, planning, and Excel-based solutions for firms across Belgium. Trained at KU Leuven with a Master in Commercial Sciences, he began his career at PKF-VMB and has since supported finance teams through Hyphen and Moore Belgium, now running his own JV Finance while consulting for Hyphen Finance. He blends hands-on accounting and controllership expertise with a developer mindset—interested in backend and Dev(Sec)Ops—so he builds practical, automatable processes that reduce manual work. Comfortable in multicultural environments from his commercial assistant days in Brussels, he communicates complex finance topics clearly to diverse stakeholders. Clients value his curiosity and appetite for continuous learning, which he channels into scalable tools and repeatable project deliverables. Notably, he pairs interim finance leadership with a technical enthusiasm that helps bridge finance and engineering teams.
